TriOomph is a 1994 Corsair F27, hull #411. The boat was designed by Ian Farrier and was inducted into the American Sailboat Hall of Fame in 2004.

Purchase Day
August 2017
After years of searching, we finally found our perfect match. It happened on an ordinary day when TriOomph popped up in our online hunt for F27 Trimarans for sale, nestled in Kelowna, BC. Being just a stone's throw away and on the right side of the border, we hopped into the car and made our way to Kelowna, promising ourselves it was just to take a look. We deliberately chose the car; it wouldn't have the capability to tow it home.
A week later, we returned with the truck, ready to tow our newfound treasure home. We made a brief 24-hour stopover at Nicola Lake, eager to get her in the water.
The images below capture our inaugural adventure, a brief 12-hour journey aboard TriOomph.
We knew right then that this was merely the start of our adventures...
Upgrades
After purchasing TriOomph, there were some upgrades required in order to make him a little more cruising friendly, including a stove and head, which were installed almost immediately.

Sanded of old and messy ablative antifouling paint replaced it with Interlux VC Performance Epoxy Bottom Paint. Very hard white finish ideal for trailer sailing.
